- My secret addiction in the last couple of days is reading Twilight posts. I've not actually read the books, but it's been entertaining watching another fandom for once - one I'm not involved in. Also,
cleolinda did a review that cracked. me. up. ("FURSPLOSION!" is my new favorite word. In caps.) - Am writing DW fic but 1) am annoyed at my continued inability to come up with an actual off-world plot/story, and 2) have seem to become obsessed with the Doctor and Rose's sleeping habits (as in actual sleeping), which is not plotty in any way. (Dammit.) Although I went so far as to try and relate one sleeping instance to a plot that doesn't exist. (Ah, the fun of writing out of order. "This will fit somewhere eventually!")
- Last night's Middleman was SO much fun! "The Egon Spengler Grant?" BWAH! Also, the fight between the Middleman and Wendy was hysterical. It was DW's New Earth 3rd-party body-swap, but instead of proceeding to flirt with each other, they beat the crap out of each other. TOO FUNNY. I'd watch this episode again just for that. :D Wendy and Travis (Trevor? Trent?) was cute (and didn't bug the crap out of me), but I have the feeling I'll pretty well be ignoring any romantic sub-plots on this show.
- ETA: OH! I saw that they're putting out a new Doctor and Rose comic book/collection? "The Bride of Sontar" or something? Is this actual new material or have they gathered up past D & R comics and are releasing it all in one book? (Still might get it though, even if it's the latter. Especially if it's the former.)

And while I have plots and ideas, my writing, after finishing the fic o' doom, is suddenly just not happening! XD

I don't blame you for needing a break! Your brain is probably rebelling!

And I'm still able to write happy-fic, so I think the brain is rebelling against doing difficult stuff!

*Stares at you*
Either you're reading my mind, or the "need a type of monkey" post last night and I'm very predictable.

I got sucked into them and I can blame Doctor Who, when the insanity from Rose's return and all the hype I needed something to keep me sane. Of course I choose badly. For some inexplicable reason I'm compelled to read them...then mock them. I fear for my sanity.

Have no fear - I really have no interest in reading them myself. (Vampire stories really aren't my thing no matter who's telling it.) I'm just addicted to reactions - good, bad and everything in between. I sorta did the same when the last Harry Potter book came out, even though I didn't read it.

Sands of Zanzibar!
Tyler.
And I love this show's silly sensibility! The girl fight, particular the slappy slappy slappy right after MM instructs Wendy (via Lewis the small medium) to use "The Triple Terror" was pretty much fall down laughing funny...

Re: Sands of Zanzibar!
And the fight was the best thing yet on this show. :D

And I've no idea if a physical comic store would get it in. Probably?
