Kingdom of Loathing

If anyone plays Kingdom of Loathing, or has thought about playing KoL, this is an invite to join the Bad Wolf clan. :D

KoL is a free online turn-based adventure game. Think that's the best way to describe it. Here's Wiki's description of the gameplay. Oh, and it's heavy on the humor and snark. My current "familiar" is an 8-pound levitating potato.

I should mention that if you're starting out new, you won't be able to join a clan until you're at Level 3, which really doesn't take all that long.

The Head Honcho for the clan is solielle. And hopefully we can start stocking the clan hall with cool things soon like a jukebox and a basement. *boogies*

I also couldn't resist throwing some "disturbing fanfic" into the clan's stash. Yeah, that's actually an item you can collect in the game. Not that you can read it - although considering it was dropped by a Furry Giant, you might not want to...

And after you're at level 3, you can go to the Seaside Town, then go to The Clan District (to the right of the Council of Loathing). Just type Bad Wolf in the search and it'll pop up.

Oh, and I discovered this morning that I can't actually use anything in the clan hall yet since I'm still in Ronin. :D

One thing nice about this is that you only get a limited number of "turns" per day. Sometimes I only spend about 5 minutes, just because I've burned through them.

Yeah, that's one thing that frustrated me in the beginning - the lack of adventures. As you go along you can pick up food and booze that will give you more adventures though.

One thing nice is that when you get into the clan, you'll be getting a few extra adventures a day because of things in the clan.
