You know how there were these cartoonish drawings done for Doctor Who - I've seen one for S2 and one for S3 where a bunch of elements from the whole series were thrown in. (I think Queen Vic was riding the blue Vespa? Or maybe it was Donna in the wedding dress?) Anyway, was there one of these drawings done for S4?

I'm not sure if he's the one who did them or not. Doesn't look like what I'm talking about though. I might have to go on a hunt.

Ah, found a copy! (Although I didn't see the S3 one.) This is what I'm talking about.

From that picture, it looks like the artist's name is Ben Willsher... and Googling him, it looks like if you are to find such a drawing it should be in either the storybook (more likely) or annual for this year (and last year). Let me check my copies...

(and I didn't get S3's storybook, big surprise)...

There are illustrations by Ben Willsher in this year's storybook, but nothing like this one.

Yep, definitely Ben Wilsher. They're published in DWM and they usually appear with their review of the complete DVD Box Set of the series. That would mean about November. I'll keep you posted. If anyone has DWM 387 (mine's missing) maybe they could check whether he did one for S3 in that?

He does some nice ones for Classic DVD releases too.

Dang! They're really a lot of fun. I can't quite remember everything that was on the S3 drawing, but I'm pretty sure I liked it.

Ooh, so maybe there will be one yet? That'd be cool. S4 really would be a goldmine of cartoony inspiration. :D
