So what mythical monster hasn't the Doctor encountered over the years? (I guess I mean ones we're familiar with nowadays like the Yeti and the Loch Ness Monster. There are probably a billion that no one's ever heard of.)

*sighs* I'm still trying to come up with a plot for a fic I've been trying to write. A sequel to my "Signing Up" fic. I feel like I need slightly more than "and they landed on a planet and spent the next 5 hours romping in a field of flowers with a pink unicorn named George. The End."

To be fair the whole 'Australian dropbear' thing is a bit of a country-wide joke for playing on tourists, often (but incorrectly) likened to the wild haggis of Scotland - I say 'incorrectly' because wild haggis are of course totally real, and it just so happens that people tend to mistake our friendly and cheerful disposition to inform tourists about their nature as some kind of mean-spirited prank to make foreigners look stupid. As if any Scotsperson could be so cruel!

*SNORTS*

It could be an extremely adventurous and well-travelled Chupucabra? Ooh, ooh! It could be a stowaway on board a ship of things going from Mexico to Britain, conveniently explaining its presence there and why no-one has any idea what the hell it is!

And maybe it could wind up in the sewers! :D
