BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Okay, so 5 hours earlier, Jack was standing before a Senate committee ready to chuck him in jail for the rest of his life, 3 hours earlier he violently broke a fugitive out of FBI headquarters, and now he is the President's pretty much one-man force against all the evil in the world, giving orders to the FBI people. Because Jack is just that awesome.
I LOVE YOU, SHOW!
As predicted, Agent Larry nearly wet himself in a scenario that went pretty much like this:
Renee: Yo.
Larry: OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!
Renee: Um...you done? We need info.
Jack: [scowls in the background]
Larry: FIRST WE MUST MEET!!!
Renee: Oh Jesus.
Jack: [with intensity] No way. The world is ending. I cannot stress this enough.
Renee: I know, but he really wants to see me.
Jack: Fine. (This is why I like Chloe best.)
[at their public meeting place where anyone could spot them]
Renee: Yo.
Larry: EEEEEEERNNNNN!!! \o/
Jack: Give me the damn files. [yoinks] Right, we'll have to split up. Renee, you go to the house. Larry, you go...away.
Larry: THIS WILL NOT STAND.
Renee: Sorry, can't hear you! Saving the world! [sprints off]
Jack: Larry, give me your car keys.
Larry: NO. RENEE LIKES ME BEST. AND I'M PRETTIER THAN YOU.
Jack: NOT TODAY.
So, will Mr. Taylor die? Dunno. This show could easily go either way. But given that Jack was able to find him, I'm thinking he'll pretty much have the run of the country from now on.

Hmmm... not sure if the one who was a bad guy counts. But the rest? Yeah. Maybe after vaguely trying to argue with him about his methods or whether he was right or something, but eventually, they all gave up.

Frankly I'm amazed the bad guys haven't done any appropriate research into Mr. Bauer's hsitory, and discovered exactly who they have up against them. There are a long line of wannabee henchmen at henchmenrus.com who could tell them about the bad experiences they have had with CTU and Jack Bauer specificially. It's obviously why Dubaku had to import all his hired guns from whatever Southern African country he comes from - nobody else was willing to go up against our Jack.
