Aww. Mickey Mouse is 75 today! Sure, you could talk about corporate logos or commercialism when it comes to Mickey, but generation after generation wouldn't have loved him if there wasn't something special about that mouse.

I'm going to date myself here and say that this song *always* brings back memories of college. During finals week, we had 23 hour/day silence enforced. That other hour, though...I *so* remember my friends blaring that song and all of us dancing wildly in the hallways.

Whee! I stopped at Disneyland on my way to work today to shop and they're having a big celebration for his birthday. I got a button when I walked in and they were having a birthday party for him at noon. Unfortunately, I had to leave before that in order to get to work on time.
