Since I still have a pulse, it's been way too long since I've posted about DW. After marathon-ing all 5 Harry Potter movies the last couple of days, and watching some behind-the-scenes stuff, I've decided that I would like to see Natalia Tena become a Who companion in the future.

Ooh. She has purple hair in her wikipedia picture.

Tonks! :D

Yeah I thinks she'd make a pretty cool companion.

And wow all HP movies? That's cool. I haven't watched the first two in years. But the last three I can watch almost any time.

It's a bit out of sync, but it gives you an idea of her.

Watching the actress do her behind-the-scenes thing, I could easily see her as an older Ace-type character.

And maybe it helps that I've never read the books. :D

Awwww, she's really cute! :D

Hee! Her behind the scenes thing is actually pretty cool :D

The books are fun and give more detail! :D I want to eventually own the UK version of all the books.

I didn't start to really enjoy the movie franchise until the third movie came out. They've progressively gotten better since then which is why I'm not too eager to go back to the first two movies. ^_^"

The third movie made me want to cut someone, since I made the mistake of rereading the book a week before the movie came out. It was just so wrong. It is humorous how I seem to be one of the few of that opinion though.

Stephen Fry has been reading Order of the Phoenix to me on my walks. It must be that time of the year. (I know a couple of others re-reading these days.)

Oh believe me you're not the only one that thinks this way. I like the movie when I don't think about the book. I enjoy the look - and the acting - that comes with that movie and the subsequent ones. But in order for me to enjoy these movies I have made sure to stay away from the books because I know I'll be disappointed.

Order of the Phoenix, one of my favorite installments, is great - although I really have some issues with it - but it helped that I didn't read the book.

Very cool! Well the new movie is coming out this July so a re-read makes sense it's not too close to the actual premiere but enough to get a sense of what's to come.

I'll be curious to see how the final book is going to come out. I know there'll be two films but where they stop and what they'll edit out is just.. a bit nerve racking. ^_^"

Based on the the-less-recently-you-read-the-book-the-more-you'll-like-the-movie theory, I should adore the sixth movie. I'm pretty sure I remember two things that happen in that one.

My mum and I watched the fourth movie on Sunday...or maybe it was Saturday...but the point is we watched it for David Tennant...well, I guess we would watch anyway, but I know I stayed up for David Tennant. He looks so smarmy in it!

I've got the first Harry Potter book sitting next to me right now. Except it's in German. I'm on the first page. Online dictionaries are faster for translating words than pocket dictionaries. It's good practice, though.

Very impressive to read a book in a different language!

I think it could be cool.
