I've finally caught up with a couple of shows.
The writers of this show can't seem to have Kim on without having her get attacked by a mountain lion, can they? Okay, so it's not exactly a mountain lion, but still. They luuuuuuuurve to use Kim as victim bait, don't they? It would have been a good enough story for that whole "there's a chance I can save you with stem cells" thing, but they just can't resist victim!Kim. Amazing how this whole plot sprung into being. But 24 wouldn't be 24 if it wasn't ridiculous in that way.
So Tony is pure evil after all, eh? I don't think there's any coming back from this one. You can only claim deep cover so far - releasing a bioweapon to kill thousands is too far. It wouldn't surprise me though if they tried to have us believe he was going after the syndicate.
Oh, and Chloe vs. Janice? Chloe every time. (And there was a "dammit, Chloe!" in this last episode! Perfect. :D)
Side note - I can't help thinking about Spooks when I watch this now. I think Jack and Ros should meet. And Jack and Harry. *nods* Oh hey! Jack would totally be able to get Harry out of Russia! He would!
I've now realized that absolutely everyone on the island is related to everyone else. Penny and Daniel turn out to be half siblings. Miles' dad is the guy from the film. Jack and Claire are half sibs...
You know, I'll be rather miffed if they're able to erase everything through messing with the timeline. It's such a cheat. They're setting it up and I'm not sure if it's because they're smart enough to see the possibility but to smack it down, or if they're lazy enough to really do it.
I still think they could have simply ended it this season instead of doing a S6. We have the answers for most everything now. Even though we don't know what the mechanics of it are, we know basically what the monster is. We know a lot of Dharma's story. And we'll probably learn about Jacob in the next episode. (I've always thought the "ghosts" and stuff had to do with people out of phase with reality. Before I knew about the whole time travel aspect, I was thinking more Philadelphia Experiment, but it's probably people who are temporarily or permanently stuck in a weird time state due to the accident caused by Dharma.)
