HMPH!

Look, 20th Century Fox! Since you're obviously bringing back Futurama from a money standpoint, let me put it to you in a way you might understand.

You produce a product. For this product there are consumers. However, these are not guaranteed consumers. If you put out a shitty product (like replacing cast members to save a buck), you will find that your consumers for said product (and the ad revenue they bring) will have vanished. So:
  1. Either you are really that thick so as to think you could get away with this and still get the money in like you did with the DVDs, or

  2. You're trying a sleazy method of negotiating salaries.
In either case, FAIL. And because I wanted to use my kitty icon too:

I emailed the casting company. Here's what I said:

re: recasting futurama

No, no, and also, no.

Sincerely,
Allison

Whut?!!

Are they actually stupid enough to think that people will watch?

Holy crap! If that happens there's no way I'm watching a single recast episode or movie.

I'm nothing more than a casual, rare watcher of the show, but honestly? The voice acting was one of the main things I enjoyed.

So, uh... Bad plan!

A phrase I use frequently with my kids works here:

FOX, ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR EVER LOVING MIND???
