You are so adorable when it comes to big chompy things and things that go boom on the Discovery channel

Ever since Stephen Colbert did a piece on it this last week, I've been delighted by it even though I haven't had the urge to, you know, actually watch any of it. XD

He did? HA! That's something I've not kept up with watching this summer. That and the Daily Show.

The only time I watch them is in the summer! I think it's because I'm with my aunt and she has this magical invention called "cable TV." Oooh.

EVERY WEEK IS SHARK WEEK

YES IT IS.

I FEEL THIS COUNTRY NEEDS A SHARK WEEK.

Or at least, needs more access to the Discovery Channel. XD

*grumbles about shark week, because it's all discovery shows during holidays; that, or stuff about the wars, or stuff about biblical conspiracy theories*

BWAH! That's one thing I like about the multitude of specialized channels over here. History, animal, discovery, travel and so on, so you're not stuck with one thing.

I was pleased with Shark Week this year. Lots of new stuff, nowhere near as many repeats from before like they had last year.

Did you see the one about the Shark Tribe? Where they call sharks with coconut shells and catch them in canoes?

No! O_O

It was really interesting. On top of the excellent sharkness, there were nifty tribal dances initiating the two guys visiting to learn how to catch the sharks into the shark tribe.
