Disney to give away 1 million free tickets to volunteers.

Instead of the birthday giveaway, in 2010 they will give away admission to Disneyland or Disney World to people who do volunteer work. I think this is a wonderful idea. Very win-win all around.

Also, Disney is starting their own theme park blog:

Which I've already subscribed to on LJ with disneyparksblog, because, yes, I am exactly that dorky. :D

I really like the idea of the volunteer giveaway. But I worry about only have a million(?) free tickets to giveway. I'm just not sure how they're going to cut it off after then. Maybe they are counting on people not following through?

I am greatly looking forward to Halloween with Mickey. In fact, I have ordered a new pirate wench dress to be custom made for me. It should be here at least a week before Halloween. I am most excited by this!
