Work stuff has made me grumpy today, so I need some smiles. Tell me something (or somethings) about TenII and Rose's life in the altverse.

*eyes certain people who would tell me they split up right away and/or wound up hating each other*

I need happy!

We got married and there was lots of cake!

Normally I'd wonder why stories of my life would cheer anyone up, but when cake is involved, I no longer have to question.

I looked very dashing, by the way.

PERSONAL CANON AHOY

The Doctor is great with Tony, almost too great. On many an occasion Rose and Jackie will need to separate them before they destroy another household appliance attempting to make a Flux Capacitor.

Whenever it's raining, The Doctor always covers his and Rose's heads with his coat so that they don't get wet.

Sometimes Rose bakes cookies. The Doctor is torn by this event, because on the one hand he thinks it's far too domestic, but on the other hand they are delicious.

The Doctor's hands feel exactly how Rose remembered them.

Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin;

Once upon a time in the land of the alt!verse there lived a young woman called Rose and a man of indeterminate age named John (or the Doctor when he was being formal). Rose and John had been through a very tough time to be together, and as a result they refused to be more than 3 feet apart from each other at any time. This had a tendancy to annoy Rose's mum, who would declare them to be "completely useless", but she could be distracted by her new husband, Pete. Rose and John had a very exciting life, with lots of running, and lots of laughing, but always they were together, and they were always happy. The end

How's that?

Smooching and cuddling (and more) is practically all they do but they don't have babies, no-no babies (shut up, that's totally a good thing :P) XD Also, Jackie gives The Doctor obligatory slaps on the Slapsgiving (or whenever she feels like ) as this is how the holiday is called in Pete's world (HIMYM just stole the idea;)). Pete is not amused. Because he's just that boring xD

They got married, and instead of cake, had a tower of cupcakes, and each one had an edible ball bearing on top.

They had 3 bb's. Noah, the oldest, Joshua, the middle child, and Miranda, the baby.

They never had any conventional pets. No cats or dogs. They had an electric eel for a while, and an otter, and a prairie dog. :)

There was also a tree house that took forever to build, because the Doctor kept wanting to make it really technologically advanced, but finally settled on just a plain old tree house, after trying to install electricity got him zapped. *nods*

We got married and there was lots of cake!

How'd I guess?

Normally I'd wonder why stories of my life would cheer anyone up, but when cake is involved, I no longer have to question.

Yup, that's it. XD

I looked very dashing, by the way.

I'm sure you did. I wonder what your last body would have looked like in a tux...

I can totally see that!

Whenever it's raining, The Doctor always covers his and Rose's heads with his coat so that they don't get wet.

Awwwwwwww.

Sometimes Rose bakes cookies. The Doctor is torn by this event, because on the one hand he thinks it's far too domestic, but on the other hand they are delicious.

Cookies > Domestic.

The Doctor's hands feel exactly how Rose remembered them.

AWWWWWWW.

HEEE!!

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2009-12-09 05:46 pm (UTC)(link)
XD Jackie would totally be all over Slapsgiving!

And awwwwwwww!

D'AWWWW.

They never had any conventional pets. No cats or dogs. They had an electric eel for a while, and an otter, and a prairie dog. :)

BWAH! WIN.

There was also a tree house that took forever to build, because the Doctor kept wanting to make it really technologically advanced, but finally settled on just a plain old tree house, after trying to install electricity got him zapped. *nods*

Now was the tree house for him or for the kids? XD

Heh, yeah, Pete would try to arrange a business trip every year to avoid seeing his wife that day and The Doctor would just try plain ol' "climb out of the window from the toilette"-thing xD

Also, The Doctor and Rose will never ever grow old and die, nope, nicht, no, non, they would stay young and pretty forever :)

And Ten2's hair won't look sad anymore because Rose wouldn't stop ruffling them ;)

There were also multiple flavours of ice cream. And some posh looking fruit salad (with extra bananas). It was very healthy like that.

I may have got a teensy tiny amount of cream in my hair (with some help from Tony), which Jackie treated like the end of the world. Good thing I never took her to the actual end of the world.

I wonder what your last body would have looked like in a tux...

*Wrinkles nose* Awkward. Big eared. Big nosed. Sulky.

I tried to write this as a fic once and it didn't work. SO PLOT SUMMARY AHOY.

During that awkward post-JE stage the Tylers throw some Vitex-related formal event, complete with live band, and in an attempt to win Rose over by requesting "Moonlight Serenade" or "In The Mood". But in Pete's World Glenn Miller was someone else, and those songs have different titles, and he winds up having to sing the main refrain of "In The Mood" for them. dadadaDUM DUM dedada dada dadadaddadadummm

Which, incidentally, wins Rose over anyway.

The Doctor celebrated his first birthday in the altverse by casually pointing out to Jackie that she was now technically 42 years older than him.

He spent the rest of his birthday in the broom cupboard.

TenII has been working on getting a TARDIS non-stop to get out of Sunday night dinner with Pete and Jackie and unnamed baby(?). He's been failing miserably, so he's done the rubbing-his-hands-through-his-hair-in-an-aggravated-manner bit, causing him to look like:

Of course, that's loads better than what he looks like after dinner at the Tyler's:

Sadly, not even Rose!snuggles will fix him for 24 hours at least.

How very fancy!

I may have got a teensy tiny amount of cream in my hair (with some help from Tony), which Jackie treated like the end of the world. Good thing I never took her to the actual end of the world.

Was it like that for pictures?

*Wrinkles nose* Awkward. Big eared. Big nosed. Sulky.

XD I can't speak for your wife, but I have the feeling she'd have found it sexy.

*snickers*

His hair would totally be happy now. XD

Last night it snowed unexpectedly, and they spent the evening cutting out snowflakes to decorate the Doctor's partially-reconstructed Tardis, then ended with hot cocoa as a nightcap. Rose fell asleep while leaning on the Doctor's shoulder, and he sat very still for the rest of the evening so as not to wake her. Of course, when the dawn began to peek in through the windows, he jumped up and began hunting down bits of a coal, a carrot, scarves and a hat. When a still-sleepy Rose asked him what he was about, the Doctor pulled her up from the couch, onto her feet, and they spent the morning making a giant snowman.

After the Doctor tilted the snowman's hat just so, he turned and Rose caught him in a huge bear hug...and then he felt something cold and wet roll down his back; the snowball came to rest at his lower back, right where his shirt tucked into his pants. Rpse laughed as he fought the layers of his coat and clothing trying to get it out. Once he had, the Doctor reached down into the snow and grabbed a large clump of the frozen stuff, which soon came sailing in Rose's direction.

The Great Snowball Battle was on.
