Does anyone know a quick way to change the colors of all your friends? (The colors you can change here.)

For the longest time I colored most everyone with black text and a tan background because it matched my layout. But the brown doesn't look good on the flist anymore.

I started doing it manually, but YEESH. That's a LOT of cutting and pasting. I want to say there should be an easier way, but it's LJ, so maybe not.

ETA: Problem solved!!

The easiest option is to not use colors, which is what I wound up doing -- I change my layout too often for them to look good. If you're coloring everyone the same anyway, disabling that option might be the best way to go.

How do you disable that option?

Customize options, under presentation, additional options, use friends colors when viewing friends page (assuming it's the same regardless of the style you're using).

I don’t think that there’s a single, central option you can select to turn off all your custom colors. I can override it in the CSS, if you’d like. (I left it as is so that you could use custom colors, if you wanted to. But if you’re using the same color for all your friends, I can just make them all blue.)

Doesn't look like I have that option. Dang.

I stand corrected! (It does depend on what style you’re using, but that’s one of the options for Expressive.)

How hard would it be for you to do? The only reason I used coloring before was to make my layout look pretty, not as some sort of color coding system.

Oh there it is!

WAIT! I found it! THANK YOU!!!

It wouldn’t have been very hard. But, as it turns out, [livejournal.com profile] featherjean’s way is even easier. :)

Very easy!

Yay! You're welcome! :D
