Remember that rumor about the Journal of Impossible Things? That Joan's granddaughter was publishing it and that's how Donna started getting her memory back? OBVIOUSLY THAT BIT DOESN'T HAPPEN.

But shinyopals swears she's seen pictures of a book signing. Does anyone have a link? I want to see!

I'm positive I saw this, but also positive I didn't make a post about it, so I don't even know where to start.

But like I said, if this doesn't appear I am kind of disappointed because I thought it sounded badass. I guess I'll just have to write my own fic where someone unintentionally publishes the Doctor's memoirs and all his friends gather round and do dramatic readings of passages and lol at him.

I rember the set reports from that day. She's doing a signing and he's waiting in line with the book. They shut down the bookstore they used, so no dialog was heard and the whole thing took a couple of hours.

Hmmmm. Seems pretty legit, but yet I've no idea how they could get that into the next episode. It doesn't seem like he'll have time for randomly wandering around. :D

There's also the stuff with Sarah Jane and Rose that hasn't happened either. I can't imagine going to the trouble of all the location shoots to not do anything with them.

Also, the above was filmed about a month before the rest of the final two parter as that was the only time when Jessica Hynes was available. It's how it got leaked that Euros Lyn was doing the finale.

I've been wondering when/how that bit will be coming in too. I didn't hear about the Donna connection though. I just knew about the booksigning, etc. With where things were left in Part 1 I've been trying to figure out how the heck that happens. I wonder if it was a plot that was cut, or if it is somehow involved in Part 2. Guess we'll find out on Friday!

I don't think RTD was messing with us. I also recall RTD said in an interview that dreams and hallucinations were going to play a part in this one. I think that Ten is going to have pre-regeneration CRAZY ASS DREAMS that may involve Joan, Rose, Sarah Jane, etc.

I'll be terribly disappointed if it doesn't make it into Part 2 at all - I was looking forward to that follow-up.
