*SNIFFLES* He just didn't want to go SO MUCH. No "I was fantastic" speeches, just "I don't want to go." Poor Ten. :( :( :( :(

So that was Rassilon, eh? Yeah, always knew he was a crazy bastard. And let the eternal debate begin if that was the Doctor's mother or Romana.

AND MICKEY AND MARTHA GOT MARRIED. I JUST... O_O

But I thought him saying goodbye (sort of) to "his" companions was lovely. And sniffly. Wah.

ETA: I'm glad there will always be a Ten with Rose off in the altverse. Take that, "Doctor Who is about change!" Nyah.

There was a part of me kind of hoped Donna would need the Doctor's assistance, and that we'd get at least one scene of the Doctor doing what he does best (healing people). xD Kind of shame we didn't. *Likes doctor!Doctor*

The thought of big hands, big hands that are nonetheless careful, and cool, gently sweeping her forehead as she regains consciousness. Sitting there with a stethoscope hooked over his neck. A vaguely concerned look that turns to joy as she awakens. And Donna giving him a piece of her mind before hugging him. xD

At least we can still fanfic about what she dreamt of while she was out cold. Maybe she talks to Grandad about it. Maybe the Doctor was in her dream, but not quite there, gently guiding her, healing her, helping her. He said he gave her a defense mechanism, and Donna mentioned her head burning, so... the big but gentle and cool hands to soothe the ache and warmth, while calming her down, would be nice...
