Dear Chuck:

I think it's time we took a break. It's not you, it's me. See, you're all into ridiculous pair-ups and I'm just not into that. I wish I could say this is something I would grow to love, but quite frankly you're not worth the effort.

Who knows, maybe someday we'll be friends again, but right now you're in this whole weird place in your life, and it's not like we were all that serious anyway.

They should just fire everybody and give the show to Adam Baldwin and rename it ~~Jayne~~ Casey...

Then we could see what ~~Jayne~~ Casey does best!

I'd just tolerated this show's attempts at writing romance, but last night went from "I'm ignoring it all" to "Jaysus H. Horseradish."

lol, at least you put your break-up behind a cut. I was so annoyed with Psych I broke up with it outside of a cut (though it was 4 days and I referenced a reference).

Honestly I'm not paying attention to the hookups. I realize it'll be Chuck and Sarah in the end, but I was intrigued by the Ellie and Morgan storyline.

And Casey was awesome! Though when was Adam Baldwin ever not awesome?

I'd been trying not to pay attention to hookups, but this show is downright terrible at them. Horrible. And we've seen this all before on this show - not only is it lazy, but they're repeating themselves. It's just...bad.

I think I'd rather see Chuck heartbroken and playing video games than dating Lana Lang.

Plus, I felt bad for Morgan (and how often do you get to say that).

I felt like I was supposed to feel bad for Morgan, but I was confused as to why I should feel bad for Morgan. He had the sad eyes at the end, but so what if Chuck's got a new girlfriend? *confused*

I'm not sure if he ever told Chuck or not, but he liked Lana and was trying to get to know her...

Ah. I guess I just thought that was Morgan being Morgan - drooling over every hot girl that comes through the door.

Lazy writing sucks, doesn't it.

I don't know if you ever went back to watching but S3 gets a LOT better. I'm really loving the show right now. After the Olympics I wasn't really motivated to watch because the show was a little boring plot wise and as you mentioned, the parings were hard to stomach. Yesterday I decided to buck up and catch up which turned into a little mini-marathon as I watched 3x8 through 3x13 and today I've watched through 3x16.

So yes, if you haven't watched any episodes beyond Chuck & the Mask you should def. do so. There was only one more episode with Hannah and the episode after that brought some changes to the show that worked for me.

Did they knock off the never-ending UST between Chuck and Sarah? Because that's probably about all that would get me to go back. I've seen too many shows that use that trope, and I'm tired of it.

Actually, yes they did. Granted I haven't seen the end of S3 so I don't know if it lasts but for now at least they're a couple.

Hmmm. I might have to pick it up again.
