Petty Ranting
- I'm on my string cheese thing again. Every once in a while I'll curse the food industry for the crappy white cheese stick blobs they label as "string cheese." THERE OUGHTA BE A LAW. Okay, so this conversation is 5 years old, but it still stands. I found some honest-to-god string cheese in an Italian deli once, but it's about 100 miles away. Bah.
- So here on the West Coast we finally finally have a live event in the same time zone. What does NBC do? TAPE DELAYS IT FOR 3 HOURS. That's right. While the rest of the world watches the opening ceremonies tonight, we'll be blacked out. No getting online to chat in real time things like "did you just see Celine Dion jump out of that paper moose???" My entire TV life has been tape delayed. I hate you, NBC.
- I really need a third thing to rant about, so... Celery! Yeah. It sucks. But yet people seem compelled to put it in things like chicken salad and tuna salad for absolutely no good reason. MIND CONTROL! IT'S A PLOT!
