Step 1: Dump flaming sofa on freeway. Step 2: ???? Step 3: PROFIT.

For the most part I like living in a city. I'm an urban dweller and too much open space is creepy, man. But then there are days I'm checking traffic for the commute home and see this:

Issue Sigalert: Couch on fire in the middle lane.

*facepalm*

I just...I don't even know.

Otter does not like

Uh......... O.o

The only thing that I could think of was:
Well someone was bored.

and

Fire pretty.

Apparently! I'm just glad it's not where I need to go tonight!

LOL OMG. Amazing.

Got to be students, right?

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
I...have no idea. I'm pretty sure this is a first for me. :D

SOMEONE IS DESTROYING EVIDENCE. LIRL

It sleeps with the freeway fishes.

The sofa was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. :(

Also, in case you ever doubted the Crazy of Harry Potter fandom. In a steel cage match of fandom crazy I am not sure whether Harry Potter or Doctor Who would win, tbh. Although maybe Supernatural would come from behind and win it all.

XD HOW DARES THE CHILDRENS EXIST!!!

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_thirty2flavors/ 2010-07-20 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
THOSE DAMN KIDS AT A RELEASE PARTY FOR A KID'S BOOK. HOW DARE THEY.

I think the answer is one of those Schrodinger's Cat type things, unfortunately. It's hard to measure wank, in the long run.

[identity profile] janetmaca.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 12:17 am (UTC)(link)
lol, why does that remind me of the guys I grew up with? *facepalm*

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
Sounds like an educational childhood... :D

[identity profile] janetmaca.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
For sure. Even an educational adulthood. I once dropped a rock on my head when I went to use it on an old-school motherboard. But yes, we destroyed a couch with a sledgehammer, so lighting it on fire seems like it's not far behind.

[identity profile] janetmaca.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 02:54 am (UTC)(link)

O.o

And I thought the occasional, random bits of trash I see whilst driving were bad.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
I've seen plenty of things like ladders and tires and other crap that falls out of trucks when the idiot doesn't think they need to tie it down, but this is a new one. :D

[identity profile] kammgirl.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
Bwah. Cyber high five to a fellow city girl. Born and raised in Queens, NYC and have lived in Philly since college. I take public transportation and have seen a guy stand by the tracks and moon the train. Of course right by my seat.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
At least he wasn't in the train! XD

BRB LOLING FOREVER

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
XD XD

[identity profile] tripocket.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
I got held up and detoured in the country once because there was a dead cow across the highway and they needed equipment to move it. Although it wasn't on fire. That would be a block party barbecue!

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
It would have!

Fire always makes things more interesting anyway.

"A pigeon was pecking at my window!"

"A flaming pigeon was pecking at my window!"

[identity profile] larissa-j.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 05:24 am (UTC)(link)
*sigh*

Comments like this remind of the years I was trapped in Idaho.

Maybe the couch fell of a truck and someone thought the fastest way to get rid of it was incineration?

Yeah... I know. Work with me here.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 02:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah...maybe! :D

[identity profile] fauxkaren.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 05:48 am (UTC)(link)
LOL. California freeways. There were two accidents on the 405 just south of the 101 today withing 20 minutes of each other and I was stuck in parking lot traffic. :(

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 02:38 pm (UTC)(link)
UGH!

[identity profile] audrich.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 02:49 pm (UTC)(link)
LOLOL!!! Stephanie Plum wasn't hiding around the corner, was she?

We don't have anything exciting going on like that here.. carrot spills are common *nod**nod*

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 03:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know who that is. :D

[identity profile] audrich.livejournal.com 2010-07-21 10:48 am (UTC)(link)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephanie_Plum

She blows up things on a regular basis (by accident, of course).

:D

[identity profile] beck-liz.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 03:35 pm (UTC)(link)
*choke* Well, we've had ... interesting traffic incidents before, but that's a new one for me.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 03:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Me too!

[identity profile] diavestra.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 06:25 pm (UTC)(link)
It's totally not the couch that perplexes me. That I can see happening with no problems at all. It's that it's on fire. WTF?

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 06:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes! Exactly!

[identity profile] julesndairyland.livejournal.com 2010-07-21 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
I have to say, that's pretty impressive.
Annoying and efs up traffic but impressive none the less...

I'm wondering that beats or ranks below a truck full of live turkeys overturning and having those turkeys run all over the highway. O_0!

Normally we just get chemical spills. Yeah, traffic is lovely to try and navigate on those days.
