I expect great things. (Although I've yet to meet a caramel apple as good as the ones they hand dip at Disneyland.)

I don't seem to be able to find caramel apples anymore! Just candy apples, which are not yummy.

I've never had a candy apple, but it just doesn't sound as magnificent as a caramel apple.
