Nyah.
There were School Reunion shenanigans on some website yesterday. The usual stuff about how Rose is a horrible horrible person for 1) daring to think she had a special relationship with the Doctor, and 2) getting snitty with Sarah Jane. Of course, what people usually fail to also mention is that 1) Sarah Jane started it and Rose finished it (not that Rose is blameless or that SJ is a horrible horrible person), and 2) the whole damn thing is the Doctor's fault.
So I'll just post this.
This is exactly why there should be an ex-companion club. One that sniffs out new companions and kidnaps them for tea. :D (Liz would organize. Jo would bring healthy snacks. Mickey would bring real snacks. The Brig would be assigned to his chair in the corner for making a comment about women working. Ace would handle pyrotechnics. (As I understand is common at English teas.))
So I'll just post this.
Sarah Jane: Oh, Rose. The Doctor's emotional douchebaggery? Trust me. I've been there.
Rose: *EYES THE DOCTOR*

Seriously, why does discussing season two, and Rose and Ten's relationship always bring out the jerks? Rose and Sarah came to the right conclusion-one that does not include Rose not being smart enough or educated enough to appreciate the Doctor's amazingness, fandom- but which targets the real issue, that the Doctor is an emotionally insecure douchebag. Yes, good has been done here!

There's quite a lot of character growth by both Rose and SJ. Basically none at all by the Doctor. Why do people ignore this?

It was on some site where some guy was watching DW for the first time. I don't read it, but followed the links.

This guy, Mark, had a blog where he read Harry Potter for the first time (without even seeing the movies) and it got a lot of followers. When he finished with HP he spun off to two other blogs, Mark Reads and Mark Watches where he reads or watches something that he hasn't had any prior exposure to. He's been doing Doctor Who recently and it has been... interesting. lol. Lots of Rose haters in the comments.

Fighting over the guy is not a trope I like, but Rose and Sarah Jane are adorable and sort things out. And if I had to order the main four in School Reunion by maturity level, Rose would be at the top.

Oh totally. I had someone on that blog say try to tell me that when Ten compared Mickey to a little pigtailed girl, that wasn't mocking/disrespect!! And the foo got rated up for that!! Who are these people lol? Boggles the mind, seriously.
