Watched the 10:00p.m.-11:00p.m. episode of 24 tonight.
Ho-ly. Cow.
I was completely emotionally blindsided by the Jack & Kim conversation. I even knew it was coming - they showed clips of it last week. But oh my God. Tears were running down my face and I'm not one that cries easily at a tv show. As in, it *rarely* happens. Practically never. The last time was...good grief, I don't know. Probably "The Body" episode of Buffy. (That one will still make me cry.)
I would make a guess that this will be the episode that they submit come Emmy time. Such strong performances all around in this one. And the story...cripes!! Only downside - no sign of the Lady Palmer, and Jack's supposed love interest (not buying that yet) so far only has one expression: concerned.
I really don't know how they're going to top this with the 3rd season. Maybe they'll let Jack have a nice safe desk job for 24 hours. Well, I'm sure whatever it is, I'll be watching.
