They really, really, really need to stop recycling actors from SG-1. It's wigging me out!
Old characters never die. They just go to the Pegasus Galaxy.
Now it's time to crash.

How many minutes until Friday? THAT MANY!!??!????
(and, um, who was that guy in Atlantis? My sister and I were trying to figure out where we knew him from -- we guessed Star Trek, but now you make me suspect otherwise...?)

You win the prize. Gold star for you :-D
I think Seven Days is one of those shows that was on before or after something that I watched, so we always caught about fifteen minutes of it.

*sidles over*
therefore there IS a star trek connection.

Re: *sidles over*
you probably look cooler NOT knowing what it is.
quick overview...
hot timetraveler -called "chronoi-naut" - Frank Parker, played by Anthony Lapaglia's brother, travels seven days back in time in alien powered sphere, undoes major disasters, has ust with hot redhead russian scientist Olga Vukavitch. Project run by "Talmadge" (bearded guy from friday's Atlantis).
was on upn before voyager for uh... three seasons?
re-runs are now on spike tv here in the states.

You know, I seemed to remember having a point going into this comment. Hmm.
Ha!
My Grandmother died!
I have scurvy!
Gerbils!
see? it makes things exciting! and happy!
Re: *sidles over*
I remember when The Sentinel was on before or after it or something. Another show that I would always catch five minutes of. And... *thinks*... okay, I have no idea what other Bad Idea UPN shows were on with Voyager, but I totally remember a bunch of the shows from the initial UPN lineup when it first started (and Voyager premiered). Like Marker. Where Dr. Crusher played a random billionnairess. And Platypus Man!! How a network could EVER cancel a show called "Platypus Man" I have no idea.
*headdesk*
I think I just figured out why I sucked so badly at college. All my memory for useless trivia was used up before I was 15.

I didn't recognize the guy, but the woman was from the Cure episode of SG.

Only Zenna (Allison Hossack's SG1 character) never died. Well, not as far as we know.
But anyway. You know there's only like 52 actors in all of Canada. Of course they have to recycle them.
The guy that played Ferriti said at GC that they wanted to use him in another SG episode, and he was like "Um, they're going to know it's me".

YEP!

Hmm. True. Well, they say everyone has a twin...

*snicker* So true.

Oh totally. Glad they never did that!

First, just how squee-worthy was that whole lab scene?? I mean seriously, EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Thought they showed Sam really struggling with hanging on to a dream with Jack or going for something tangible with Pete. So much angst there! The undercurrents (hell, the overcurrents) in that lab scene! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
I've watched that scene over and over, and I can't help but be thrilled that we get the shippiest moments in the Pete eps. When she said "What about you?" I was ecstatic that Sam would still consider Jack's feelings and opinion. Haven't we all wondered and speculated about Jack giving her his blessing, but wow was his response powerful! I think "If things had been different" he'd *so* be retired, happy, and Pete wouldn't have had a chance. But things aren't different. He seemed to sag a little when he said that she hasn't said "no." Deep in his heart, he was still holding on to hope that this was just a fling. But he supported Pete, and that was very gentlemanly of him.
And then she said yes! Wow! I totally didn't think that would happen! So Sam's engaged for a second time. Will this one take? Or will she get that dream yet?
I am almost ashamed of myself for thinking this, but I think the "Yes" scene was the cutest Sam scene in history. Pete really does have an adorable sense of humor, and on the second watching, I wasn't even as purturbed about his "stalking" line.
I'm really going to feel sorry for him when they break up. (just my wishful thinking, no spoilers here) He isn't a bad guy... Although I still can't stand those dog food commercials.

Hmm. I don't *think* it's set up so that only members can comment. Odd!

Yeah. I can't see Jack ever standing in Sam's way with Pete. He'll keep any kind of hurt and/or disappointment inside and show nothing but support for Sam. In the end, it's going to have to be up to her. And it ain't over until the "I do's" are said. ;)

I've seen other people say how cute it was - I was still 1) surprised she said it because I hadn't been spoiled for the episode and 2) couldn't stop thinking it was really, really weird timing on Sam's part.

HA! Yeah, there's going to be heartbreak in *someone's* future and they're all good people which makes it sad. :(

I think it's just that format. Another of my friends just set up her LJ like that, and I can't find the "leave comment" equivalent.

I agree about it being really weird timing. And I'm also loving being unspoiled.
