I'm the proud owner of the Futurama season 4 DVDs. *sniff* So. Beautiful. On the commentaries I've watched so far, none of them have had John DiMaggio. :( Hope he's on at least some of them.
Happy August birthday to a bunch of people! To name a couple – late happy birthday to stars_like_dust and early happy birthday to anr!
LJ very amusing today. Funny how some think that disagreement is an attack. I've seen it many times before. It's the "my thoughts and ideas have been pooed down by angels themselves so if you publicly disagree with me you must be mocking me (OR A TROLL OMG)" syndrome. It's very entertaining to watch. And blocking people for a fandom debate? Pffft. Talk to me when you've got a creepy sex addict emailing you and then we'll talk blocking.
But even more shocking – Costco had Christmas decorations. Um, maybe you didn't hear me. CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS. *looks at calendar* Yup, still August 25th ...in the year of the INSANE.

Michael's and Joanne's have had them out for over a month now. Or possibly they just never put them away...
Indeed. We had one here in Nashville for a while, and there's a huge one (like, as big as your average K-Mart or Target) in Gatlinburg, TN. I went there this summer...it was even creepy to someone like me, who loves Xmas stuff. I couldn't imagine working there. Although we bought the most adorable blown glass seahorse ornament...
They're excused, because even the stuff they have that you don't have to actually plan ahead and make? Is being bought by crazy people who plan that far ahead to coordinate with the things they are making.

Or by crazy people like me who just like Christmas decorations and ornaments... *slinks off, mumbling to self about garlands and trees*
*giggle* Then there are people like me, who wait until the big post-holiday blowout sales to get glitzy bead garlands and stuff on the cheap for costuming...
Funny how some think that disagreement is an attack.

My son phoned me at work this morning to tell me that our Futurama DVDs had arrived, which was rather cruel and sadistic of him, I thought, on a day when he knows I won't have time to watch TV at all. I've taught him well.

HA! Little imp! *dances some more at DVDs* Man, I love this show. :D
Sorry for the late wishes - I saw people sending you wishes and I kept telling myself, "Must wish Claira a happy birthday." *distracting things happen* "Dang! Must wish Claira a happy birthday." *more distracting things happen* Well, you get the idea.
When I was at the store, I spotted the Halloween stuff and was thinking it was kinda early for Halloween stuff, but not surprising. And then I rounded the corner and saw the Christmas stuff. *cries*

That's because if you wait until Christmas to buy them, all they have is stuff for the fourth of July...
