I guess it only goes to figure that a fandom that's been around since the early 60s would be gianormously wanky. But I had just *no* idea how bad the Doctor Who fandom was. How can such a fun, quirky show inspire so much dwama? It has a *police box* that *flies through space.* That right there should preclude it from any kind of do-or-die...oh, what's the use? People still flame each other over original Star Trek topics as well.

I am *SO* staying in my own little corner and now have absolutely no desire to watch/read anything from the first eight doctors. (Meep.)
