Wish I had more time to keep up and in touch with y'all today and in general. Today I had something happen that makes me realize I need to keep in better touch with people.

In dashing through the strange liquid falling from the southern California sky to a restaurant around the corner, I hear my name. Turned out it was someone I used to work with - we used to go out to eat all the time together and had the best time. But because time gets away from you, it had been about two years since we had seen each other. Happily, I handed over my business card and we're going to get together soon.

Fortunately, fate/chance/luck/whatever brought us together today, but I need to be better at keeping people in my life. It's so easy for me to keep a very small number as I go off into my own little world.

And after all that, I still don't have any time to catch up with my flist. *sigh* Back to work.

Totally know what that's like. Time just sorta runs past you in big lumps (years) before you realize how long it was since you really *talked* to a person.
