Ok, given that you are in THE SOUTHLAND. How are you defining cold again? Kidding! =D

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2004-11-22 06:05 pm (UTC)(link)
BRRRRRR! It's 52 out right now! Brrrrrrrrr!

[identity profile] roseredathena.livejournal.com 2004-11-22 06:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Whoa. That is seriously cold. That's like parka and thermal underwear cold! =(

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2004-11-22 06:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I know! I wouldn't be surprised if a polar bear walked by!

*hands over some hot chocolate and a thick, warm, yet stylish coat*

Then I'll ask you the same question people ask me when I tell them I'm cold...."How can you be cold in San Diego?!?!?" Well, close...substitute "San Diego" for "Phoenix" and you pretty much have it.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2004-11-22 06:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Ooooooo, thanks!

And people don't get how cold it gets out in the desert. You guys are even colder than us, I think.

[identity profile] jemster.livejournal.com 2004-11-22 06:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Especially today because it's raining here. Or was, rather, now it's just overcast in places right now. Up north in Prescott it's snowing like mad (come to think of it, have you ever heard the expression, "snowing like happy", "snowing like depressed", or "snowing like blah"? No!) and people are having problems getting to work and such.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2004-11-22 07:05 pm (UTC)(link)
HA! Snowing like...turnips. Okay, apparently I need more coffee.

There was this town up the road from us about 30 miles that's *not* a mountain town. They got snow! Clearly the world is ending.

I know! I could see my breath when I left home this morning!

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2004-11-22 06:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes *cough* thought you said "breast." COVER YOUR SHAME.

[identity profile] diavestra.livejournal.com 2004-11-22 06:43 pm (UTC)(link)
BWAH! I'm wearing a *sweater*. They are covered.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2004-11-22 07:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Phew!

[identity profile] splash-the-cat.livejournal.com 2004-11-22 06:25 pm (UTC)(link)
*pats Michelle*

*snickers behind other hand*

[identity profile] jemster.livejournal.com 2004-11-22 06:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Michelle, I wouldn't take that if I were you, especially from Julie. ;-)

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2004-11-22 07:10 pm (UTC)(link)
fffffffft! Don't mock the cold!

[identity profile] ladyofthelilacs.livejournal.com 2004-11-22 07:31 pm (UTC)(link)
52? That's FREEZING! Poor baby.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2004-11-22 07:44 pm (UTC)(link)
I know! WAH!

It's so rare that I get the chance to giggle at those who live in climates warmer than mine (well, when I'm home, and not in the frozen wasteland of Ohio) that I have to take the chance wherever I can get it. So: *giggles*.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2004-11-22 08:29 pm (UTC)(link)
HA! I might be a *tad* bit dramatic about this. Heh heh. I did spend 4 winters in the midwest, so I do know cold.

Brrrrrrr.

[identity profile] pixiesio.livejournal.com 2004-11-22 10:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Wimp! ;)

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2004-11-23 12:23 am (UTC)(link)
BRRRRRRRR!

[identity profile] stars-like-dust.livejournal.com 2004-11-23 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
And here, I'm meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelting in manner of Wicked Witch of the West. Swap?

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2004-11-23 04:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm. I don't like really hot weather either. Too cold? Or too hot? I think I'll stick with the cold. :D
