Ah, badfic. There are so many kinds. There are the WTH-plot fics. The OOC fics. The supposedly-humor-but-wouldn't-amuse-a-drunk-rat fics. The hey-I've-got-a-thesaurus fics. And the good old bad grammar/spelling fics.

But I think my ultimate favorite has to be the "agenda" fics where the author has something to prove to the world. The result is that they're about as enjoyable as a political speech at the Oscars. Whether it's having Jack and Jacob verbally berate Sam for her unprofessional behavior at the end of 100 Days or turning Pete into a wife-beater so Jack can kick the crap out of him.

Gotta love 'em.

Sorry if a version of this comes through twice. This is what happens when I let my inner perfectionist take over.

Anyway I said something about my personal favorite agenda fic being Teal'c, Jack and Daniel sitting down in S1 discussing why Sam shouldn't be on SG-1 and how she'd obviously lied outright about having been in the Gulf War.

So I e-mailed the author and explained how Teal'c, Jack and Daniel shouldn't be on SG-1 either.

Strangely they never replied to me...

And erm sorry for just wading into your lj like this.

Well I know that *now* but when I read this fic and replied I was all shiny and new to fandom and had no idea what a yahoo group or a forum or a lj comm was, so also had no idea just how insane fandom truly was.

Now I know they're just a Sam basher who was obviously put on this earth to amuse the rest of us with their poorly thought out arguments.
