I need a hand to hold!

Okay. Doctor Who in 4-minute chunks. I think I could handle that. Yes. That may be the way I need to do this. Bite-size baby steps. If 'bite-size baby steps' actually made any sort of sense. Link to 4 minutes of DW's Runaway Bride Christmas episode:

ETA: Post is now locked, folks.

However, I don't think they'll be showing it in 4-minute chunks. Dang. I'll still probably have to have people pre-screen and give me a rundown before/if I watch it.

Things I *really* do not want to see in the Christmas episode:
  • Doomsday sledgehammer redux. Bad thing is I know that this takes place *right* after Doomsday and... Well, Doomsday was enough of an emotional beating. No more, I beg you!

  • However, I also don't want to see a que sera sera about Rose. A "blah blah blah whatever" to the fact that she's gone.
BAH. This is kinda why I have impending dread and doom about the Christmas episode - I really can't win. If I could have my preference, or if I was in charge (and couldn't get BP to stay after waving a bunch of money at her), it would be to start up with the Doctor and Martha off on some fantastic adventure, and they'd continue to have fantastic adventures. Maybe once every third or fourth episode the Doctor could have an "aww, sniff" moment about Rose, but then back to the adventures. Yes. That's what I want. Of course, in episode 13 HE WOULD FIND A WAY BACK TO HER, DAMMIT. AND NONE OF THIS SHE'S NOW 80 OR MARRIED SHIT...

*ahem*

Yeah, I suppose I deserve my emo icon. *selects*
