In the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Room...
I have a couple of people on my flist who write long anecdotes - the kind that make you want to pull out a box of popcorn and get comfy. elismor has the kind that start out with something like "My dog was balancing on one paw this morning..." and ending up with "...and that's how I became ordained in the state of New Jersey an hour ago." The other is xlickety_splitx who is a cast member at Disneyland. She really does love the place, but has a wonderfully cynical take on a lot of things and frequently shares horror stories from the Happiest Place on Earth.
Today's tale is one of teens gone bad, a nutty woman and an adult pushing a child off a horse.
Oh, it amuses me so.
Speaking of which,diavestra, poohmusings and I had a great time at Disneyland on Friday. Finally saw the 50th anniversary fireworks show. WOW!!! I mean, WOW!!! If you have a chance to see it, go. It's probably one of the best fireworks shows I've seen in my entire life. I *so* have to see that again. The only bad thing was that there were a million people there on Friday. WTH? These people should have all been at work or school, dammit! Okay, another bad thing - Karen had the Tiki music in her head for DAYS. (mwah)
