THE Loch Ness Monster!

Gilmore Girls

Wow. I was not really annoyed by anything in this episode. Huh. Although I did miss the very beginning where I guess there was awkwardness between Luke and Lorelai. I actually laughed out loud at Lorelai visualizing a float as her new car. Can't remember the last time I laughed during a GG ep. And it was fun seeing Luke being Luke again with that whole, "I went and checked out this car, and by the way when you stop by tomorrow I'm putting air in your tires..." Now if only S6 had never happened, things would probably be pretty good.

Not surprised Rory didn't get that fellowship thing. And *so* not surprised at what's being hinted for next week. But after seeing tonight, I'm not sure if Rory's really that in love with Logan.

Not a bad episode. Kinda reminded me of earlier episodes in a way.

Terror of the Zygons (Four, Sarah Jane, Harry)
  • Awww! Harry's wearing the Doctor's scarf! Then later the Doctor has it back! They're clothes swapping!

  • I think Sarah Jane wins the award for Companion Most Hypnotized By the Doctor.

  • You know, I'm a bit miffed that New Who has made it so that SJS and Harry never got together. There should have been years of amusing arguments with Harry's old-fashioned-ness resulting in Sarah delivering swift kicks...

  • So these Zygons are responsible for the Loch Ness Monster? I wonder if *this* Loch Ness Monster is any relation to the Loch Ness Monster that Six ended up creating with H.G. Wells. Perhaps they have tea together.

  • The Zygons' plan for world domination was going to be hitting an energy conference with the Loch Ness Monster? Because...the sight of the monster would immediately enslave people who would then be used to transform the planet into something suitable for Zygons? And the Zygons have waited for 1,000 years to do this? Because waiting until a civilization advances to where it has bombs is a whole lot better. Zygons are dumb.
