I was wondering that too. Usually (Stargate wise at least) we get a couple of episodes over Christmas that puts us ahead of you guys but it doesn't seem that way this year.
Canada are way ahead with Atlantis - "The Long Goodbye" aired this week - I think they will be finished with the season by the end of January. In the UK we get "The Hive" next Wednesday.
I don't think Canada are ahead with Stargate SG-1..I'm not sure. According to my tv guide, the UK get "The Forth Horseman" Part 2 next Tuesday.
heh. I'll probably still download it, because 1) Adverts annoy me and 2) Our lounge is freezing and not as warm as my bedroom and 3) I'll probably forget its on tv!
Canadians Who Can Afford The Movie Network are up to "The Long Goodbye". Canadians Who Cannot Afford TMN begin watching SEASON ONE on Space on the 23. Canadians who can't afford Space are screwed, unless they buy the DVDs. Which I did.
All Canadians will be caught up with American Season Nine when it starts airing in the States. This will be the first time since Season Five that this has happened. Season Six never officially aired in Canada.
Battlestar Galactice begins its Season Two on Space a week from tomorrow.
Everything starts again in the States tonight.
Britain...confuses me, as I thought they were ahead with Atlantis and nothing else, which doesn't make a lot of sense.
Basically, the whole thing is stupid, really. And they wonder why we download....

I knew it all came down to separation of the classes! ;)

How weird.

Oh, so quite a bit behind there.

Well, yeah.

Actually, the thing that pisses me off the most is Atlantis. I mean, not only are they airing it A SEASON AND A HALF late AND two months after the DVDs come out, THEY ARE CALLING IT "NEW"!
Not sure which is more lame - that or the selling of BSG's 1st half of the 2nd season, calling it "2.0" and charging the same price as a full season box set.
Yeah Canada was airing the second half of S2 for Atlantis and just aired "The Long Goodbye." They didn't show the second half of SG1.
I think a combination of Sky being off an extra week for the holidays and Scifi beginning earlier for the states, means we get the new SG1 eps several days earlier then the UK. Yes, I was reading on the Sky message boards that some UKers want to storm the Sky studios in protest. Now did we complain when we were behind? *g*
Oh, I think I may have grumbled once or twice. O:-)
But at least it's just a few days and not weeks. If that had been the case in the past, I wouldn't have bothered in past years - especially with the dialup.
