Woo!

Looks like Steve Jobs is already laying the smack down on Disney. I think he may finally be the one to get the Mouse House in order.

L.A. Times Story

Pixar sequels to be made (and decided) by Pixar - imagine that!

*sings*"There's a shooting, and there's a beating,
It's like a Disney and Eisner meeting!"

Three cheers for Pixar!

It's Billy Crystal, sung to the tune of "Old Man River".

How hysterical! Sounds like something he'd do at the Oscars. Is that where it was from?

Yes.

from the article: "sequels did not count toward the films Pixar owed the studio."

How in the world does a new movie (even if it is a sequel) not count as a new film? I mean, they don't combine the costs and revenue together, so why should they only count as one film? [Jobs right, Eisner wrong.]

I think it was all about trying to milk Pixar for everything he could. Eisner was all about the slash and burn.

True.

He is the one who decided to close down the traditional animation studio in Florida after its hit of Lilo and Stitch.

*shakes head*

Hopefully Disney can get back on track now.

Oh good. Ever since I read the news of the buyout, I've been mourning for Pixar, but now I feel better :)

Yeah, it's almost like Pixar is the one buying out Disney. :)
