Storm 2008
The winds are picking up, but I saved $36 on groceries! The latter gives me great comfort in the former, as now my fridge is full and I might -- just might -- be able to ride this baby out! The $36 in savings was due to two things: 1) I am my mother's daughter, and 2) I had a LIST when hitting the grocery store. Provisions needed to be gathered, people!
However, it struck me while I was filling my basket that I'd planned to make a lasagna AND roast a chicken this weekend... NO MATTER! I will be fed and dry! And have food to last me through the eventual looting and rioting during the mass chaos. I wonder if I should hide some food. Of course they'd assume I'd do that. Right, the fridge is the last place looters would look for food! WOO! *hides jug of water in the shower*
BRING IT!
