What? Everyone else was jumping off the bridge, so I had to too! Even though I've only ever watched one and a half episodes of this before.

  • I was actually entertained! Go figure. And laughed out loud a couple of times. IN THE WAY THEY INTENDED. Bizarre.

  • A bit of weirdness - I kept feeling like Jack didn't belong there or something. He stuck out. Maybe it was partly due to the whole storyline, but it felt like something more. Even the guy who didn't play Spike - he felt like he belonged to that fictional universe. Jack didn't feel like he inhabited it. Maybe it was a mental disconnect after having seen him in DW again recently. It's not something I can completely identify.

  • Ianto and Owen look exactly the same. Exactly. Couldn't keep them straight, although I think one of them might have been wearing a tie. I also have this with Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan who I swear are the exact same person. Anyway, I'm going to be calling Ianto and Owen the hobbits from now on.

  • Okay, I need to slightly retract my "entertained" remark. First third: entertained. Second third: bored. Final third: entertained. Which probably boils down to liking this show when there's action and car chases and stuff. The more "character" moments seemed forced and disjointed, but I can't tell two of the characters apart yet, so what do I know?

  • Torchwood's apparently doing a great job of keeping secret if random little old ladies are muttering, "Bloody Torchwood!" Good job, guys!

  • As funny as it was, why exactly was the blowfish driving the sportscar?

  • Why would a Time Agent need to use the rift?

  • Where was the pterodactyl?? :(
