I love this icon.
Do I keep having to say "that S4 casting spoiler" for Doctor Who? Is anyone still being protected by that?
A couple of things have been all over the flist this morning:
If you've known me for a few years, you may remember how the Sam/Jack (SG-1) ficathon just about killed me. (And know that this is where my duck thing comes from.) Now I'm seriously considering doing a Doctor/Rose ficathon. There's a big list of prompts you can choose from instead of being assigned ones, so that might work a bit better for me. However, odds are probably good that there will still be writing melodrama along the way - there always is. It's too cathartic.
A couple of things have been all over the flist this morning:
- Cinematic trailer for S4 of Doctor Who where we finally see Rose! WOO! Okay, it's a 0.5 second flash of her just standing there, obviously a shot from that Doctor-lite episode, but WOO!! (And looks like we've not yet seen the last of emo!Doctor, in spite of S4 being "lighter." Honestly, I never thought "lighter" meant that the Doctor would instantly revert to happy/carefree Doctor again, so this doesn't surprise me. I think it's quite possible to have lighter/funnier stories and keep character continuity.)
- Phil Collinson said in an interview that Rose is a big part of the second half of S4. WOO!! Again!! Of course, those crafty PTB are...crafty. This doesn't necessarily mean that we'll get to see a lot of Rose, but maybe she and the alt!world figure into a larger story in the last part of the series. Personally...just bring Rose back already! GIMME!
