The Unicorn and the Wasp
- Professor Peach in the library with the lead pipe. *snickers*
- Heh. The Doctor manages to offend with questionably-timed exuberance all on his own. Imagine that!
Agatha: Right. This is still Rose's fault. - BWAH! Random Doctor flashback where he's tromping through the woods on his own...trying to rescue Charlemagne from an insane computer. I think that just won the award for most random thing in Who EVER. :D
Odd thing was, he was just trying to find a sandwich shop. - The Doctor's so funny when he's in fanboy mode. And like Dickens, Agatha's trying not to roll her eyes at him.
Agatha: Please don't let him start humping my leg. Oh please oh please oh please... - Donna and Agatha's conversation reminds me a *lot* of Dickens. Team TARDIS meets up with the author who is going through a personal rough patch. Even discussion about how their books are read through the ages.
I did like Donna bringing up Lance. - BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! "I need a shock!" And Donna snogs the hell out of him!
The Doctor's so shocked, his body goes into detox mode. BWAH.
Okay, that whole scene got a bit too campy. (And they did that "what do you need" routine way better with the Doctor and Jackie back in TCI.) Although I guess it fit with the overall tone of the episode. But the Doctor drank ginger beer! (I was amused when Sarah Jane would wrinkle her nose at him for doing that.) - Bessie II!!
Sadly, no actual Bessie mentions. - Not quite as random as the Doctor having a flashback, but...chest in the flooring. UM, THERE ARE OTHER ROOMS IN THE TARDIS. HOW ABOUT USING THEM?
I refuse to believe the Doctor lives his life in the console room. You know, it wouldn't cost that much to film a closet and say it's in the TARDIS. Really!
So basically this episode was if you crossed Clue with Tooth & Claw, and threw in a side of The Unquiet Dead. :D The upside to this episode was it was fun and fairly entertaining. The downside is that I think just about every other scene reminded me of something they've already done. Hmmm. I'd say I liked this episode, but I didn't love it.
