Stephanie won and THANK GOD. There were several minutes there I thought Lisa would get in in a twist of WTF!fate. Which...NO. That would not have been cool.

I'm not sure if the judges wound up taking past performance a bit into consideration, of if the uniqueness of Stephanie's good dishes really did make up for the pound cake and banana pudding.

I did feel bad for Richard, just because he really didn't bring his best game to the finale, and he knew it wasn't his best. I'm sure lots of kicking himself went on after that, poor guy.

So yeah. Fly back to whatever bitter little pond you came from, Lisa. *waves*

Now it's just a month away from Project Runway. Normally I can't stand reality shows, but I like these two. Oh, and The Next Food Network Star. Sort of. Which reminds me...

I didn't really watch it last season, but the challenges seem, well, ridiculous. I guess it's meant to be entertainment as much as it's a job interview, but... 30 minutes to complete 3 dishes with only one other person? Not even the Iron Chefs have it that bad! And then the latest - racing around and trying to prepare meals on a train? Except for Robert Irvine, who exactly does this?

I guess maybe a point is to see who can work well under pressure and who cracks (as well as to fill air time and get people like me to tune in), but still. The challenges seem way too hard, and seem setting people up for failure, even if they're the best of the group. No one can put out their best under those circumstances.

And they wound up booting that guy out instead of the woman who walked out of the room at the judging section? Yeesh. That was surreal. And not in a good way.

Random: PAULA DEEN ANNOYS THE HELL OUT OF ME. Need to get that out. Feel much better now.

And finally, my brother just emailed me. How cool is this?? It's like MYST in real life!
