From [livejournal.com profile] splash_the_cat. A meme I can dig! I embrace my geek-side!

List 5 reasons why you are a dork. And make them good reasons. Justify them. Explain them. Be loud and proud about how big of a dork you are!

  1. SG-1, fanfic, vids, other shows, etc. I tell friends and they just smile and nod, knowing me for the geek that I am. :D However, if I had never gone on this geektastic pursuit, I never would have met all of you. (And licked some of you. HA!)

  2. Disneyland. Not Mickey Mouse. Not Disney movies. Not Disney World. Disneyland. The park itself. I've posted (but mainly lurked) in Disneyland fandom groups and lists even *before* SG-1. The only fan letter I've ever written was to Disneyland about their coffee. I'm currently fangirling someone who works at the park. I love reading stories about sightings of the godawful lemonade cart that keeps moving around the park, and about the person I'm fangirling's amusing stories from working there, and...just park gossip.

  3. I have a 10-year plan to turn my best friend's kids into sci-fi geeks. And Disneyland geeks.

  4. I still bite my nails. It's disgusting and I don't even realize I'm doing it.

  5. I'd much rather make someone laugh than get into a deep conversation. In high school I was voted Class Clown. I have a hard time trying to talk to someone who wants to have a heart-to-heart or a deep conversation - I'll usually stick my foot in my mouth. I try, but I'm still a dork.

You forgot to rhyme!

It's a world of french roast, a world of drip, a world of espresso, so fine to sip...

And you know would this be considered deep?

Deep *and* rich.
