HA!

Oh yeah. The brother is now *completely* addicted to Doctor Who. Mind you, he just started watching yesterday after work. This morning I get an email:

Darn it! I'm already half way through the series. When did you say they were going to start the new season?

Mwahahaha! Want some candy, little boy?

It's so easy to manipulate siblings... :D

How many doctors does that make???

I can remember back in the 1970's and 80's how I jsued to wait for the new Doctor Who's to make it to this country. It was a lot harder because there was less information about when and where and there was also "a lot less where".

I'm just glad we had an excellent independent public access station that showed every episode that they could get their hands on.

I still haven't gotten around to downloading the new series yet. Too many other things cloggin up the clock.

I vaugly remember our PBS station showing DW way back when, but it was too old for me at the time. All I remember is a fuzzy image of the police box.

You should check out the new series when you get a little time. It's *very* entertaining.

Our PBS station (which was really the little sister station of the PBS station and ran lots of really good independent stuff) ran the Doctor starting with the first all the way through the Peter Davidson ones (or was Colin after that). Anyway, they looped a couple of times so even if you missed one you'd be sure it would come back around again in about a year. They played multiple shows each day and on Saturdays played two - four hours of the Doctor.

Oh for a station like that again.

Who me?

I've had two discs of Doctor Who sitting here mocking me since last Sunday. I'm afraid once I start watching it, I won't want to stop.

So I'm waiting until this Sunday to watch it.

Side note: OMG! FARSIDE!

I watched it *all* on a Saturday! Good plan on waiting until Sunday.

And yes! My normal LJ sidebar went bye-bye when my site went down. *sniff*
