Well, their relationship is an unusual one. He overlooks her human-ness and she overlooks his love of bath products. She really has no idea what his obsession is with campers though, and that ultimately could be the wedge in their relationship. Oh, and the Stefan thing too.

Awww, Mulder and Scully was one of my early ships! I adored the two of them and even though some episodes scared the hell out of me, I watched! Sometimes through my fingers! :D Their resolution and the baby was...strange. However I really loved their dynamics in the last movie. It really struck the right balance for me - this sort of damaged co-dependence they have. *pets them*

Caroline and Tyler are werewolves. The show may not know this yet, but they are. They're also masters of carnival organization, which is what brought them together. They also much prefer the Rose years of Doctor Who, mainly because of "Tyler."

Rory and Amy are sweet. Maybe a bit bland, but sweet. I know sometimes people don't really like the way they talk to each other, but often that strikes me as realistic. At least between couples that are friends as well as in love. It really is a shame, though, that Amy felt more comfortable talking about a potential baby to the Doctor than to Rory. Not quite the level of closeness they should be at then. Obviously they'll have to work on that.

Doctor/TARDIS is... What can I say? I mean, it really is the ship for all ages when it comes to Doctor Who. They've always been together and always will be together.

It sort of makes me wonder about The Parting of the Ways. I'd think that the TARDIS knew what he was doing by sending her away. You'd think she wouldn't stand for that nonsense, but I guess she needed Rose to do anything?

Elena and Matt... I'm not sure that could ever work given Matt's insistence on chasing ghost dogs. He's always running off, trying to catch Skippy or Sparky or Fluffy. She thinks it's weird, and this coming from a person who owns a vampire house. Matt, however, is stealing Elena's underwear.

Jenna and Alaric are a different matter. Alaric is still pissed off by being ditched by the Doctor. Sure, the Doctor thought he was dead, but he had sent him emails since then. Typical. Jenna doesn't believe that Alaric is from another planet and has traveled in time. She's just there for the sex.

I love Thursday and Landen! Part of the reason I find it so interesting is that it's very much a gender role reversal. Thursday's the one who's the one out chasing bad guys and going on secret missions while Landen's a stay-at-home dad. And they're both perfectly content with the way things are.

John Watson/Mary Morstan - Honestly the only thing I really know them from is the Robert Downey Jr. movie. However, I have the feeling that Sarah might be a Mary replacement in Sherlock. I kind of like the idea of Mary or Sarah as someone who brings normality into the equation. She tolerates John and Sherlock's shenanigans and probably understands why they do it. However, she doesn't really get involved. Not voluntarily at least.

It's sort of complicated for me because I'd like nothing better than to see John and Sherlock have their epic bromance and live at 221B forever, but on the other hand I think she's probably very good for bringing some sanity.

Kermit/Miss Piggy - Very very ugly children. It's sad, really.

Barbara Wright/Ian Chesterton - Awwww! They're so cute! And they were still together after all these years! *squishes*

Buttercup/Westley - I wonder what they have to talk about. I really do. Fairy tales are fun and all, but I'm always curious about what people do for the rest of their lives. :D

Peanut Butter/Jelly - I don't like peanut butter. Jelly's only marginally better. They deserve each other.

I lurve the thought of Rose and the TARDIS being BFFs! :D There are a few tie-in novels that talk about Rose having a special bond with the TARDIS. Nine mentions it in a book, the TARDIS links to Rose directly (without the Doctor knowing) in another, and in another book Rose and the TARDIS are dreaming together. It always makes me AWWWW. Rose even did a bit of TARDIS stroking herself.



And then of course is the whole Parting of the Ways thing. GIRL POWER!
