I'm not sure I have a whole lot to say about this week's Leverage or Torchwood. Maybe a couple of very minor things.
I was very amused at the US vs UK language stuff, mostly because I've totally been there (in email form) with people. BISCUITS? DON'T YOU MEAN COOKIES? :D
I really do like how each week they've been coming up with new stuff to be horrified about - you think everything's been covered, but then they bring up something new to think about. I liked how Jack quickly clued in to the fact that with this type of immortality, people can't be less careful, they need to be more careful. A living death sounds much worse than death death, and most of the population hasn't clued into that yet.
Poor Jack and his FOREVERALONE moment with Gwen. "IT'S JUST YOU AND ME, GWEN!" *click* "Gwen?" "My friend?" *pats Jack* Jack, you really could be with the Doctor, you know. He did offer. So it's hard to feel sorry for you too much.
Not sure exactly why Jack ran off to have a strange conversation with Oswald (although Oswald just gets creepier and creepier). I was sort of confused at that conversation.
Anyway, I keep getting the feeling that Mickey and Martha are being 100% more productive at the moment.
Really don't have a lot to say about this one. I was amused at Nate and Hardison letting that kid watch them breaking into the system. Hardison giving the kid tips and Nate all "don't teach him that." HEH. And then Parker confused about the fact that they really were after a potato, finally saying she hadn't really been paying much attention. A bit like this episode, really. :D
Unrelated to anything, I've been having very vivid dreams lately - probably the new medication. I dreamed that Benedict Cumberbatch had decided to join a ballet company. I was quite cranky. Fandom was thrilled to see him in tights, but I was only all "WHAT ABOUT SHERLOCK??!" In fact...I sort of woke myself up crabbing about it. (Yes, I sometimes talk in my sleep.)
