I'm not sure I have a whole lot to say about this week's Leverage or Torchwood. Maybe a couple of very minor things.

I was very amused at the US vs UK language stuff, mostly because I've totally been there (in email form) with people. BISCUITS? DON'T YOU MEAN COOKIES? :D

I really do like how each week they've been coming up with new stuff to be horrified about - you think everything's been covered, but then they bring up something new to think about. I liked how Jack quickly clued in to the fact that with this type of immortality, people can't be less careful, they need to be more careful. A living death sounds much worse than death death, and most of the population hasn't clued into that yet.

Poor Jack and his FOREVERALONE moment with Gwen. "IT'S JUST YOU AND ME, GWEN!" *click* "Gwen?" "My friend?" *pats Jack* Jack, you really could be with the Doctor, you know. He did offer. So it's hard to feel sorry for you too much.

Not sure exactly why Jack ran off to have a strange conversation with Oswald (although Oswald just gets creepier and creepier). I was sort of confused at that conversation.

Anyway, I keep getting the feeling that Mickey and Martha are being 100% more productive at the moment.

Really don't have a lot to say about this one. I was amused at Nate and Hardison letting that kid watch them breaking into the system. Hardison giving the kid tips and Nate all "don't teach him that." HEH. And then Parker confused about the fact that they really were after a potato, finally saying she hadn't really been paying much attention. A bit like this episode, really. :D

Unrelated to anything, I've been having very vivid dreams lately - probably the new medication. I dreamed that Benedict Cumberbatch had decided to join a ballet company. I was quite cranky. Fandom was thrilled to see him in tights, but I was only all "WHAT ABOUT SHERLOCK??!" In fact...I sort of woke myself up crabbing about it. (Yes, I sometimes talk in my sleep.)

XD I love your brain :D

Whilst I *would* pay money to see Ben's gorgeous legs, I think I prefer him in his swirly coat XD

I don't know what it is about UK actors, but to me they all look better with lots of layers. :D

I imagined that during the language stuff, somewhere in England [livejournal.com profile] shinyopals was going YEAH GWEN YOU TELL THEM YEAH!!!!!

Jack's foreveralone.gif moment was probably the funniest part of the episode. XD

The odds are good. :D

Really hard to take Jack seriously when moments before he was all "BYE. MUST GO HAVE SEX NOW FOR NO REASON." XD

yeahhh, I was really confused at the random Jack/Oswald conversation too.. wonder what the pharmaceutical company is doing with him though and how they're using him in their nefarious plot or whatever lol

That whole angle isn't making a whole lot of sense to me yet. I guess I'll have to wait a bit.
