There's this Totally Impromptu Festival of Awesome Ladies happening. I added Sam Carter, because she is an awesome lady. And hunting down gifs made me totally nostalgic. :D

I ran across this in my search and it's TOTALLY TRUE. XD
I kind of miss talking about desert camos, P-90s, Sam's hair, and how when Sam and Jack glanced at each other in that scene IT TOTALLY MEANT SOMETHING.

Omfg despite S/J being canon, it was the mother of all ships where YES DO YOU SEE THAT LOOK RIGHT THERE? TOTALLY THE LOOK OF LOVE. And it was. I miss watching new SG episodes on a Wednesday and squeeing over the little looks and the little 'was that a touch? I think it was!' moments and, of course, waiting to see if Daniel would die *yet again* and then be brought back.

Ah, those were the days! I think one year the UK might have gotten eps before us for some reason? I remember acquiring 90 mb files - like the size of a postage stamp - and it would take frickin all day to get on dialup. XD

I just rewatched the episode where Jack is turned into a kid, except it's really not him, it's a clone. And then he goes back to high school. I'd forgotten about that by the later series, and wondered why they couldn't have brought him back to help out--since he's got all of Jack's knowledge (and now more besides).

THEIR LOVE WAS CANON AND I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY NEVER GAVE US PROOF--PHYSICAL TANGIBLE PROOF OF WHY THEY DIDN'T GET TOGETHER!!!!

Some of the writers must have fucked off or something--the ones that shipped Sam and Jack, lol, because after Window of Opportunity (FAVOURITE EPISODE FECKING EVER!!!), I feel like it got more subtle? Unless the devolving cave-man-esque episode was after that. Then I've just got no clue. lol

I just love Sam and Jack.

I LOVE that this show did actual kid!fic/high school AU-ish/clone stories. It's like they were their own fandom. XD

And I have NO idea what happened on that front. Why they REALLY pushed that whole storyline in S4 and then let it basically fall flat.

ALL I WANTED AT THE END WAS A HAPPY SAM/JACK ENDING!!! Geeze.

They were awesome in that they did all of their own AUs and stuff. Lol, their own fandom. :) I love it. One of my other favs was the episode that fast-forwarded with the alien tech and Sam couldn't get preggers because of what the aliens did to them with all of their 'health care.' lol

Oooh yeah! And then Sam and Jack had a totally angsty moment because she married the douchebag instead of Jack. XD

I KNOW. Why would they DO that... Seriously. Didn't he die though? I swear he died, or turned out to be evil or something equally ridiculous... lol

I think in the real timeline he got stuck on another planet? With the implication of death? I don't exactly remember.
