HMPH. Looks like this might be a prolonged game of Companion BINGO. I was able to fill in some of my dots, but how can we play if they won't tell her who she's playing?

Well, I'm sure there will be plenty more press releases in the next several months, so more dots can get filled.

I am sort of amused that Moffat thinks that mysterious teasing actually works. You know, where he gives absolutely no information and that's supposed to make people hungry for more. Maybe it does on some people?

Wouldn't surprise me either if she's a fob-watched Romana or Susan. Before I would have rolled my eyes at that kind of thing, but since we're heading into the 50th, I could see some sort of tie-in to Classic Who.

I like her though, in the video I mean. My main "concern" I guess if you can call it that last night when she started being rumoured was that she looks like she's about 12 years old in the face even though she's 3 years older than me, and that that might be an excuse for Moffat to write a very young character. But her voice sounds very mature and stuff idk.

Oh and I also learned that brunette girls apparently have a huge chip on their shoulder because I've seen so many people going GOSH I HOPE THE NEW COMPANION IS A BRUNETTE FINALLY!!! and now OMG YAY SHE'S BRUNETTE!!!

Brunettes are the true oppressed class here I guess.

I'm just confused! I mean, is the episode going to be shot in the dark? It's only a mystery until you air the episode. Unless they start her episodes like this:

Eleven: Hey, remember the time I met you?
Jenna!Companion: I do! That sure was mysterious wasn't it?
Eleven: Very! It was a very mysterious mystery that we will reference several times and never explain.
Jenna!Companion: I still don't understand how that puppy was actually a-
Eleven: LASERS!
Jenna:Companion: Ah! Running!

PS: The last time Moffat tried to build up a big mystery it....um, it didn't work. He should really stop.

I suppose Mel was pretty much a mystery. Didn't really work out so well though. I personally feel like it doesn't give the audience a chance to connect to the character as well.
