Samantha Carter of SG-1 had the best ever-changing hair.  So many hair discussions were had over the years.

Season 1

So young.  So innocent. So flat.


Season 2

My personal canon is that she was trying to be hair buddies with Daniel.  See?


Season 3

Sam seems to be rocking the Soccer Mom look this season.  It's probably revenge for Jack running off and having sex with aliens.


Season 4

The hair is just plain getting out of control now!  Doesn't seem very military.  MUCH LIKE THOSE UNSPOKEN FEELINGS OF C.O. LOVE.


Season 5

Now it just seems like overcompensating.


Season 6

There really wasn't much change between S5 and S6.  Sam was probably too sad about Daniel to be playing with her hair much.


Season 7

The team's back together and Sam decides to go WILD!  Scruffy hair, motorcycles, leather jackets, fiances...!  WILD.


Season 8

Fairly similar to S7, but smoothed out.  She obviously decided to give up the biker gang.  (Not that Jack's fantasies gave it up.)


Season 9

Oooh, starting to grow out a bit.  It must be distracting to have random new people on the team.


Season 10

Oh, Sam.  I'm not sure why the hair helmet.  Maybe with all the flying back and forth to Washington it's hard to get a good cut? 


AND THEN SHE TURNS UP ON SGA AND SUDDENLY HAS LOTS OF HAIR.

And dammit all if those kids aren't well trained! Except for when Jack turns a 'blind eye' and they play a prank on those nasty kids down the street who ruined Jack's tulips. But will his kids ever get caught? Why would they get caught? There's no proof.
But if they did do it, they had radios, night-vision goggles, and they went in as an organised team with a plan.

They totally have a bro code. Teal'c doesn't always appreciate the finer details and the vernacular, but he's more than willing to pass on some of his training to the O'Neill children. And Daniel totally teaches them ancient languages so they can communicate without anyone else knowing what they're saying.

Sam's happy to stay out of it so long as no one is arrested, no one gets hurt, and no one hurts anyone else.
