I dub you Sir Moron.
- So Robert dies and everyone spazzes and the throne is in play. This is really the heart of the books/series, I imagine, but blah blah blah blah. The politics of all this is the least interesting bit to me. Plus Ep 7 had a complete lack of Tyrion and Arya, so MEH.
- Again they tease with the creepy stuff that goes on beyond The Wall. I WANT TO SEE THIS STORY ALL THE TIME, DAMMIT.
- Wow, Ned is really dumb. Why is it in stories like this that honor and intelligence never seem to go together? If a character is honorable, they won't have the ability of strategy. Also the opposite - if a character can strategize, it must mean they're a dishonorable person. It drives me a bit nuts.
- If Arya dies will be MIFFED. Sansa...meh. (I still don't hate Sansa or anything -- I understand why she's doing what she's doing -- but I'm still not that interested in her as a character.) The other brothers - I still can't tell them apart so if one of them is killed I probably won't notice one of them missing.
- I don't care who wins the throne, but someone needs to take out the weird breast-feeding woman.
- ZOMBIES! XD XD XD
In other news, this pic is now my computer wallpaper. Not only is it otter Sherlock and hedgehog John cuteness, it was tweeted by Martin Freeman's S.O.! It's awesome and makes me grin every time I see it!
And now back to watching Gordon Ramsay being an asshole to people.

:(
I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS ABOUT LYSA (aka weird breast-feeding woman). Like. She's actually kind of a tragic character, but she's so minor that I know her backstory is never going to make it from the books onto the show. I mean, she's crazy. No doubt about it. BUT IDK. SHE'S JUST REALLY SAD TO ME.
Ned is pretty dumb, but like. He never wanted to the King's Hand. He was not cut out for politics. He's a soldier and he's a good and just lord. He just has no idea how to play the game of thrones. He's just this decent man who is always trying to do what is best and doesn't care about personal power, but at court, he can't really afford the luxury of honor.

I haven't felt much sympathy for her yet. I think it's because she's busy majorly screwing up her kid.

The poor dude should have just stayed in the North.

Definitely. On the other hand, how do you say 'no' to the king?

Ned should definitely have stayed in the North. He was just not cut out fo this. He wasn't even meant to be lord of Winterfell. He was the second son who only became Lord when his father and elder brother were killed by the mad king. He wasn't groomed for this and he's not a natural. He's just... he's Ned.

This annoys the crap out of me. I desperately want a character who is both honorable and can strategize on my TV. It seems so rare. And somehow, Ned's dumbness seems to stick out so much worse on TV than in the books. Maybe it's because they had to cut a bunch of stuff out to make everything fit?
