BSG thoughts

You know what holdover from the original BSG I could really, really, REALLY do without? The use of the word "fra(c)k." I hated it when they used it on the old series. I hate it now. Like nails down a chalkboard, it is. Whenever I hear it, I feel like saying to the character, "You are the biggest loser on the planet (or battlestar). Grow up and swear like a soldier."

Of course, this tirade could be due to the fact that even though medication is supposedly for "daytime use," it "may cause drowsiness." What the hell is up with that? Do I look like I wander through life, half asleep during the day? I AM NOT A KOALA BEAR. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

X-Men comics. Specifically Cable. It's an Askani swear word (we figure, since the Askani Sisterhood are, well, chicks, that the translation is more like 'horrible painful menstrual cramps I curse you with' rather than 'fuck', but...)

OOOOOOH. I get it. Thank you. (I have not read large numbers of X-Men comics, but I have read enough to figure out that Cable is very cool and kicks lots of ass. Your translation of it would definitely make it an awfully potent curse . . .)
