The Poll of British-type Men continues! And the comments continue to be fairly entertaining. :D
- Martin Freeman vs. Colin Firth. I really do like Colin Firth a lot. He really is a fabulous actor. But I like Martin Freeman right now. Sorry, Colin.
- David Tennant vs. Benedict Cumberbatch? OH NO. :\ It might be another case of liking someone right now, although I do think that BC genuinely is a better actor than DT. Even though DT is no slouch by any means. *FLOPS*
- Tom Hiddleston vs. Alan Rickman. I've only ever seen Tom Hiddleston in Thor, and *shrugs*. So my vote goes to Alan Rickman, who has done some pretty good work.
- Colin Morgan vs. Bradley James.

LOL J/K I don't care, I am still smug off the fact that tonight I hung out with my friend -- the one who started DW with s5 and texted me after TWORS to be like "IT WAS SO ROMANTIC" -- has clearly escaped the effects of whatever hallucinogenic drug she was on and spent much of tonight complaining about Moffat, Eleven, series 6 and Sherlock s2/Irene Adler.

I had always been so disappointed and perplexed by her lack of taste before. This was very refreshing.

Besides, it's not like they ever include any of my faves: Anthony Andrews (his Scarlet Pimpernel is the best), Richard E. Grant (loved his Doctors), or Timothy Dalton (who I fell madly in love with when I first saw him in "Wuthering Heights"). I do have a thing for Alan Rickman ("Truly, Madly, Deeply" was the start of my thing abt him) and I adored Colin Firth long before P&P ("Valmont", much better than the other film, IMHO, esp. as the other film didn't have Alan Rickman like it should have). David Tennant goes without saying (thin, big nose, glasses, freckles, geeky--I love that his Doctor made all that sexy) and Benedict. Guh. (His mother was in Classic Who three times, and she has the most amazing cheeckbones, plus she was in UFO!)

My fave of her DW guest star stints is "Image of the Fendahl". It's got Leela, always a good thing. And the pretty Scott Fredericks, also seen in the Blake's 7 episode, "Weapon". Major eyelashes!
I keep this site in my faves toolbar:
