Is this going to be a timey-wimey relationship? Although that block doesn't help me much.

How about the alien/from the future spot? It doesn't sound like she's from the future, but she's part Dalek, right? That HAS to count as an alien!

However! I don't really think Oswin is Clara. So I don't really think Oswin is the new companion so I don't really think most of these actually apply.

I think you have to wait for timey-wimey relationship. It could be that Clara Oswin is also Oswin Oswald (maybe Clara Oswin Oswald?) or completely different people or maybe another Gwen-Gwyneth type of relationship.

I just watched that Chris Hardwick interview of Matt Smith & Karen Gillan at the New York premiere of Asylum of the Daleks and that other producer's comments about Jenna-Louise's inclusion in the episode had me thinking it was just Moffat trolling.

I suspect a back to front relationship- that this is Oswin/Clara's last story, but it's the first time the doctor met her. I do think this is the same person. No indication she's from 21st century- everything indicates something else.
