Once Upon a Time is back!

A Regina-centric episode, which are always a bit boring to me. Unfortunately I was playing around on my computer when the showdown at her house happened, so the whole thing of Cora showing up and Regina disappearing was highly confusing. I'm not exactly sure if the others could see Cora - it didn't seem like it. (ETA: Apparently that wasn't Cora but the Blue Fairy. THEY LOOK ALIKE, I SWEAR.) But whatever. Regina is misunderstood in spite of the dozens of people she's murdered in her lifetime.

This is why I like Emma's mentality in this show. The storybook characters run around applying their own morality and justice to every different situation. Which might sound good in theory, but when you have hundreds of different people using their own personal morality as a basis of judgement...

In Emma's mind MURDER = JAIL. That's it. Doesn't matter who or why. It's not even about self defense or accidental killing. Murder. TEAM EMMA.

P.S. I had to laugh at tumblr. I ran across a post yelling at people for putting hate in the Cora tag. Okay, things are starting to get a wee bit ridiculous about character protection on tumblr. Cora's the frickin villain who just murdered some random person (latest in a long line). Of course she's going to get hate! She's not a "glorious BAMF queen" (or whatever other fetishizing title you want to give her) in most people's books. Go ahead and love the character - that's great! Just don't get all butthurt when people react to her the way the show means the audience to react to her. Yes, even in her tags.
